The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has welcomed its first Bitcoin ETF, the VanEck Bitcoin ETF (VBTC). The VanEck Bitcoin ETF debuted with a substantial initial trading volume of 1.9 million AUD, indicating a positive market reception. The ETF is a feeder fund that provides exposure to Bitcoin by investing in the US-listed VanEck Bitcoin Trust (HODL). This trust has a significant asset base of $647 million.
