This action follows the collapse of these cryptocurrency mining firms into liquidation, leaving hundreds of investors owed over $160 million AUD ($104 million USD).

ASIC has accused the NGS companies and their directors of targeting Australian investors to establish self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) and then converting these funds into cryptocurrency for investment in blockchain mining packages.
