Web3 is applied to the Bali festival

When Belong, an NFT ticketing platform for communities and events, offered a branded ticketing platform for Lampu 2024, web3 technologies found yet another practical application. Every year, more than a thousand people go from all over the world to Lampu, an annual festival inspired by the renowned Burning Man, to experience Bali's ethereal atmosphere.

Belong uses NFTs to improve attendance at events. With its token-gated access infrastructure, the Web3 platform enables event organizers and community owners to sell NFT passes for attendance in both fiat and cryptocurrency.

For this year's event, which ran from February 29 to March 3, the festival teamed up with Belong to provide attendees with a more seamless experience, from ticket purchases to in-event notifications.

For the event, Belong designed a landing page under the Lampu brand, which made it possible to use several UX improvements to draw in visitors from outside the Web3 ecosystem. On Belong's Lampu page, users may view event schedules, connected communities, and real-time updates.
