Content creator Ben Armstrong recently advised American software company MicroStrategy to maximize its advantage by selling Bitcoin when the cryptocurrency is at its peak. Armstrong criticized MicroStrategy’s BTC sale, arguing that holding Bitcoin indefinitely is impractical without generating income.

In a May 1 filing, MicroStrategy outlined various obligations due in 2025 and stated it would sell part of its BTC holdings to pay off long-term debts.

Following the announcement, Armstrong released a video on his YouTube channel, discussing MicroStrategy’s decision to sell its BTC despite their previous "diamond-handed" approach. He emphasized that MicroStrategy is primarily a software company with substantial debt obligations due in 2025.

Armstrong suggested that 2025 is expected to see a parabolic rise in Bitcoin prices, and it would be advantageous for MicroStrategy to profit at the peak to settle their debts. He also noted that the company’s inability to pay off debts through software sales underscores the necessity of selling BTC holdings.
