Bitcoin (BTC) appears to be shaking off its post-halving hangover, according to technical analyst Rekt Capital. Recent price action suggests a shift from the "danger zone" towards a healthy period of accumulation.

Traditionally, Bitcoin experiences a surge in volatility following halving events. This period, dubbed the "danger zone," can be nerve-wracking for investors. However, this time around, the price dip was a relatively mild 6.5%, followed by a refreshing 15% jump, signaling a quick exit from the danger zone.

"We're officially past the post-halving danger zone," declared Rekt Capital, a popular crypto analyst. Bitcoin is celebrating with a solid bounce, finding support in the re-accumulation range.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is hovering around $62,600, reflecting a positive 3% increase in the past day.

Holding Steady Above $60,000 is Key

Rekt Capital, in a recent blog post, highlighted the significance of the $60,000 support level. Maintaining this level is crucial for Bitcoin to continue its upward climb, potentially reaching $68,000 again.

"The correction seems to be over," he stated, "and the price should comfortably hold above $60,000 moving forward." While past performance doesn't guarantee future results, the resilience of this support level is a positive sign for Bitcoin's trajectory.

Inflation, Elections, and the Allure of Bitcoin

All eyes are now on the upcoming release of the April Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, with inflation remaining a top concern. A reading exceeding the Federal Reserve's target of 2% could lead to prolonged high-interest rates.

However, some believe this economic climate makes Bitcoin even more attractive. Arthur Hayes, founder of BitMEX, argues that rising government debt and potential adjustments by the Fed make alternative investments like Bitcoin more appealing. He predicts Bitcoin will surpass $60,000 and find stability between $60,000 and $70,000 by August.

The upcoming US presidential election could also play a role, according to Standard Chartered. The bank suggests a potential win for Donald Trump might benefit Bitcoin due to anticipated shifts in fiscal and monetary policies. Their bold prediction? Bitcoin reaching $150,000 by year-end and a staggering $200,000 by 2025.

Pantera Capital Doubles Down on Bitcoin

Crypto hedge fund Pantera Capital remains bullish on Bitcoin, predicting a potential price surge to $114,000 by August 2025. This comes despite ongoing challenges like inflation, Federal Reserve policy, and geopolitical tensions.

Pantera utilizes a stock-to-flow model, which considers the limited supply of Bitcoin relative to its production rate, which is designed to be cut in half every four years during halving events. Historically, Bitcoin has responded to these halvings with significant price increases, sometimes exceeding 93-fold.

By analyzing both pre-halving and post-halving rallies, Pantera Capital concludes that price peaks tend to occur roughly 2.6 years after halving events. Based on this analysis, their projected timeframe for Bitcoin's potential surge aligns with August of next year.
