The crypto market experienced a significant rebound today, with Bitcoin (BTC) surpassing the $65,000 mark, leading to a rally in crypto-related stocks.

In a remarkable turn of events, the cryptocurrency market made a strong comeback today, with Bitcoin (BTC) reclaiming the $65,000 level, sparking optimism in the market and boosting several stocks linked to cryptocurrencies.

COIN & MSTR Stocks Soar

Coinbase, a leading crypto exchange, witnessed a surge in its stock price as investors regained confidence in the crypto market. The company's stock price rose by 2.81% from the previous trading session and was trading at $224.20 at the time of writing. Moreover, the COIN stock gained 2.01% on Thursday, closing at $218.08.

MicroStrategy, the largest institutional investor in Bitcoin, also saw a spike in its stock price, with investors flocking to the stock due to the hype surrounding the upcoming Bitcoin Halving. The MSTR stock rallied by 4.04% to $1,257 in pre-market trading today and gained 1.69% to close at $1,208.16 on Thursday.

The timing of these rallies is significant, as they occurred just before the Bitcoin Halving event, which has historically been associated with a significant price rally for BTC. The event, which occurs every four years, reduces the rate at which new Bitcoins are mined, potentially driving up prices due to reduced supply.

However, the Robinhood (HOOD) stock did not follow the trend, experiencing a decline. The HOOD stock dropped by 0.23% to $17.04 in pre-market trading on Friday.

Bitcoin Surpasses $65,000

The price of Bitcoin finally rebounded and surpassed the $65,000 threshold ahead of the Halving event. At the time of writing, the BTC price had increased by 4.58% to $64,657 on Friday, April 19, boasting a market valuation of $1.28 trillion.

Furthermore, the BTC trading volume soared by 15.27% to $50.54 billion. The latest rebound could be due to the optimism in the crypto community regarding the upcoming Halving. However, crypto analysts have predicted that the Halving is already priced in and that Bitcoin may not see a notable uptick after the event.

Additionally, long liquidations still dominate the recovery, which could trigger a slump. According to Coinglass data, $55.62 million long liquidations were recorded for BTC in the last 24 hours, while shorts tried to minimize losses with liquidations worth over $50 million.
