Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView indicated that Bitcoin's sudden decline was triggered by the release of U.S. nonfarm payrolls data, which significantly exceeded market expectations. The robust employment figures suggested that the labor market is more resilient to tight fiscal policies than previously anticipated, complicating the Federal Reserve's stance on interest rate adjustments.

Economist Mohamed El-Erian, quoted by Bloomberg, commented on the implications of the data, stating, “It does close the door on a July rate cut.” The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is scheduled to meet on June 12, and current market sentiment now sees minimal likelihood of an interest rate reduction in the upcoming meetings.
