After a week of significant outflows, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States saw a reversal on June 25, with net inflows totaling $31 million. This shift in investor sentiment comes after seven consecutive days of outflows, which amounted to $1.1 billion.

The Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund led the way with $49 million in net inflows, followed by the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF with $15 million, and the VanEck Bitcoin Trust ETF with $4 million. However, the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust experienced net outflows of $30.3 million, and the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF reported $6 million in net outflows.

Despite recent fluctuations, the 11 spot Bitcoin funds that launched in January have seen total net inflows of $14.42 billion as of June 25. The approval of these ETFs by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May has paved the way for more issuers to enter the market. In fact, VanEck filed a Form 8-A with the SEC for its spot Ether ETF on June 25, bringing it closer to launch.

The recent outflows from U.S.-based spot Bitcoin ETFs were the highest since April, when total net outflows exceeded $1.2 billion. However, the trend has reversed, and investors are once again showing interest in Bitcoin ETFs. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, spot Ether ETFs could start trading in the U.S. as early as July 2.
