Spot Bitcoin ETFs have observed a resurgence in activity this week, coinciding with the rebound of the cryptocurrency market. On March 26, these ETFs attracted inflows totaling $418 million, marking a notable increase in capital influx compared to recent trends.

Data from investment management firm Farside Investors confirms that the ETF market is capitalizing on the renewed interest in Bitcoin. The $418 million inflow represents the highest amount of capital flowing into these products since March 13.

Among individual ETFs, the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin (FBTC) notably outperformed BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) for the second consecutive day, attracting the highest inflow on March 26 at $279.1 million. IBIT followed closely with $162.2 million in inflows. Despite the regular outflows seen in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), the WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund (BTCW) remained relatively stable.

An especially noteworthy turnaround was observed in the Ark 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), which saw a remarkable increase from zero on March 25 to $73 million in inflows on March 26, marking its second-largest inflow this month.

With these latest inflows, the total cumulative inflows to these investment products since January 11 amount to $11.7 billion, resulting in collective assets under management (AUM) of $58.755 billion at the time of reporting.

This surge in inflows marks the second consecutive day of positive capital flows this week, following a week of consistent outflows. Last week, the spot Bitcoin ETF market experienced significant fund outflows totaling $887.6 million, coinciding with increased retracement in the crypto market.

The spot Bitcoin ETFs observed five consecutive days of outflows for the first time since their inception, with the single largest intraday outflow of $362.2 million recorded on March 19. These outflows were driven by reduced inflows in other products and sustained outflows from GBTC, which has seen significant losses since Grayscale transformed it into an ETF on January 11.

As the cryptocurrency market embarks on a recovery, investor interest in spot Bitcoin ETFs has been reignited. Bitcoin itself aims to sustain its recovery momentum, aiming to defend the $70,000 price level. Despite some fluctuations, Bitcoin has shown resilience by recording higher lows, closing at $69,988 on March 26. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $69,788, representing a slight 0.27% decline from earlier levels.
