CleanSpark, a leading Bitcoin mining company, has announced plans to acquire five turnkey sites in rural Georgia for mining operations. Despite the ongoing industry-wide capitulation and a dip in Bitcoin price to $64,000, CleanSpark is taking a proactive approach to enhance its operational capabilities.

The acquisition deal, worth nearly $26 million, will see the company acquire five sites ranging from 8 MW to 15 MW, for a total of 60 MW. The operating hashrate of the combined facilities is expected to exceed 3.7 exahashes per second (EH/s) upon completion of the S21 pro miner installation.

CleanSpark's CEO, Zach Bradford, stated that the acquisition marks a significant milestone in the company's strategic growth plan and represents the leading edge of nearly one gigawatt of new opportunities being analyzed by their teams. The sites will not only enhance the load balancing capabilities for the local cities they work with but also lock in the achievement of their mid-year target of 20 EH/s of operating hashrate.
