Bitcoin options traders are displaying optimism, betting that the cryptocurrency's price could surpass its all-time high by the end of June, according to recent data from Binance.

Ruslan Lienkha, YouHodler's Chief of Markets, highlighted a notable concentration of open interest at a strike price of $75,000 for the June expiry, aligning with Bitcoin's previous peak of over $73,000 in mid-March.

Lienkha explained, "There is significant call open interest domination, and many option traders expect the bitcoin price to surpass its all-time high by the end of June."

This sentiment is mirrored in data from the Deribit derivatives exchange, which also reveals a clustering of calls at the $75,000 strike price for the June expiry.

Despite this bullish outlook, Lienkha anticipates that Bitcoin's price may consolidate around current levels in the short term. Options data suggests that traders foresee a period of relative stability before any potential breakout towards new highs.

Options contracts provide traders with the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on or before a specific date. Calls, which are prevalent in this scenario, grant the holder the right to buy the underlying asset, indicating a bullish outlook on Bitcoin's future price trajectory.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin is trading above $61,000, with a slight decline of over 1% in the past 24 hours. The broader cryptocurrency market, as represented by the GM 30 Index, also experienced a slight decrease during the same period.
