In a bold prediction signaling strong bullish sentiment, analysts at Alliance Bernstein have forecasted significant price milestones for Bitcoin (BTC) in the coming years. Gautam Chhugani and Mahika Sapra from Bernstein have initiated coverage of Microstrategy, a firm heavily invested in Bitcoin, alongside their optimistic price predictions.

According to their analysis released on Friday, Bernstein anticipates Bitcoin's price to surge to $200,000 by 2025, an increase from their previous estimate of $150,000 for the same timeframe. Building on this trajectory, they foresee BTC climbing to $500,000 by 2029, and achieving a staggering $1 million by 2033.

Explaining the rationale behind their bullish outlook, the analysts cite the substantial demand driven by spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These regulated financial products are seen as a pivotal development, attracting traditional capital into the cryptocurrency market.

"We believe that U.S. regulated ETFs were a watershed moment for crypto, bringing in structural demand from traditional pools of capital," stated Chhugani and Sapra. They anticipate that by 2025, Bitcoin ETFs could hold approximately 7% of the total BTC in circulation, with this figure potentially rising to 15% by 2033.

Furthermore, the analysts highlighted the impact of Bitcoin halving events, where the rate at which new Bitcoins are produced is cut in half approximately every four years. This reduction in supply, coupled with increasing institutional and retail adoption, serves as a catalyst for higher valuations according to their analysis.

In their assessment, they emphasized, "We believe bitcoin is in a new bull cycle," underlining their conviction in ongoing positive market momentum.
