Bitcoin has reached yet another significant milestone by hitting a new record high against the Euro, surpassing the 60,000 euro mark for the first time. On March 4, the cryptocurrency achieved a new multi-year high in dollars, reaching $65,000.

Bitcoin's momentum didn't end there. TradingView data reveals that Bitcoin reached 60,393 euros at one point, marking a roughly 5% increase from its intraday low of 57,521 euros. Not only is the digital currency up approximately 56% year-to-date, but it has also exceeded its previous all-time high of around 53,000 euros set in late September 2021.

This milestone wasn't limited to the Euro. In 2024, Bitcoin has reached new highs against numerous fiat currencies, including the Chinese Yuan (CNY), which holds the title for the world's largest fiat currency by market capitalization.

In an interesting development, Bitcoin has surpassed previous all-time highs in over 30 countries, according to Balaji Srinivasan, a pioneering investor and former CFO of Coinbase. These countries include China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Argentina. Despite reaching $65,000, Bitcoin has not yet surpassed its all-time high against several fiat currencies, including the US dollar, Swiss franc, Brazilian real, and Mexican peso.

The digital coin's ascent coincides with increased exposure following the recent launch of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US. After the launch, Bitcoin ETF issuers acquired a substantial 340,000 BTC, excluding the significant BTC sales by the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF.
