With a substantial following of 711,500 on a social media platform X, Michael van de Poppe suggests that both gold and BTC are poised to achieve record-high levels.

Van de Poppe emphasizes that Bitcoin is currently consolidating before its next breakthrough, while gold continues its ascent towards new all-time peaks. As of the latest update, BTC is valued at $67,654.

Emphasis on Two Alternative Coins

Focusing on Polkadot (DOT) and Synthetix (SNX), two decentralized finance (DeFi) cryptocurrencies operating on Ethereum (ETH), crypto analyst Van de Poppe sheds light on their potential. Expressing intentions to include DOT in his portfolio soon, he remarked on the current market dynamics:

"DOT has hit a low cycle level due to Bitcoin's impact. I foresee a shift coming; there are notable advancements. I am excited to incorporate it into my portfolio."

At the time of this report, DOT is trading at $7.29, reflecting a 14% decline. Regarding SNX, Van de Poppe observed a lack of momentum against BTC, stating:

"There is a persistent downward trend here. A breakthrough above 6000 satoshis would signal a strong presence. Currently, the momentum is quite subdued. ETH needs to lead the way, and SNX will follow suit."

SNX's current value stands at $3.24, showing a 16% decrease in value at the time of writing.
