The entire value of the cryptocurrency market has fallen back below $2.5 trillion.

After reaching over $65,500, Bitcoin’s price dropped significantly by more than $2,000.

Other cryptocurrencies like DOGE, SHIB, and AVAX are also facing losses today.

Bitcoin experienced a volatile week, dropping to $56,500 and then bouncing back after the US Fed announced no interest rate increases.

Despite surging over the weekend to near $64,500, Bitcoin dropped back down by $3,000 on Monday, settling at $62,650.

Altcoins like DOGE, SHIB, and AVAX are facing losses, with only SOL showing a 2% increase and reaching around $160.

Mid-cap altcoins like MATIC, HBAR, STX, PEPE, TAO, and ICP are also down by 5-9%, except for RNDR which surged past $10.

The total cryptocurrency market cap has dropped by $60 billion in just one day to below $2.5 trillion.
