A significant concern is the waning interest in Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) linked to Bitcoin. According to CryptoSlam, Bitcoin NFT sales volume has dropped by 10% in the past 24 hours. Notably, collections like BONE and JIGO have seen substantial declines in both base value and trading volume, indicating a broader disinterest in Bitcoin-associated NFTs. This trend could stifle growth on the Bitcoin network and impact overall activity.

Additionally, there’s a noticeable decrease in Daily Active Addresses within the Bitcoin ecosystem. This metric, indicative of user engagement, has fallen, suggesting a reduction in network interaction. Lower engagement could impede the network's growth and vitality.

The declining interest in NFTs and reduced network engagement also pose challenges for Bitcoin miners. Lower network activity leads to fewer transactions, thus reducing transaction fees—a critical revenue source for miners. Consequently, miners face financial pressure as transaction fees dwindle.

Moreover, a drop in the hashrate, which measures the computational power protecting the network, adds to miners' difficulties. Although a lower hashrate might initially seem to make block-solving easier, the network's automatic difficulty adjustment reduces block rewards, intensifying competition among miners for fewer rewards. This scenario forces miners to depend more on transaction fees, which may be insufficient to sustain their operations amid declining network activity.
