The spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) managed by BlackRock, known as iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), has not seen any new investments since April 24. This marks the first time in a while that the fund has not had any new entries for several days.

Data from IBIT's official page shows that the fund has maintained the same amount of 274,462 Bitcoins over the past four trading days. BlackRock stopped the streak of entries to IBIT on April 24, after consistently receiving new investments daily. The fund started with 2,621 Bitcoins on January 11 and increased its assets by 10,378%.

Some experts in the cryptocurrency industry raised concerns about the halt in entries to IBIT, suggesting it may not be a positive sign for investors. BlackRock's 71-day streak of entries was seen as unusual, and a co-founder of Apollo shared insights on how ETFs typically operate.

During this period, other ETF issuers like Grayscale Investments have also seen exits from their spot Bitcoin ETF funds. On April 20, there was a daily exit of 823 Bitcoins from 10 spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US. Despite the slowdown in entries, the total Bitcoin ETF assets have increased by around 33.1% since January 11, reaching a total of 831,424 Bitcoins by April 29.
