The Bitcoin community is showing growing worry as BlackRock's spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) has stopped receiving new investments for four consecutive days, marking the first time this has happened since its launch.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the fastest-growing spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States, has not seen any new investments since April 24. Data from IBIT's official page reveals that the fund has maintained a steady 274,462 BTC over the past four trading days.

On April 24, BlackRock's IBIT broke its 71-day streak of continuous inflows, causing some concern among investors as the fund had been consistently attracting new investments daily. Starting with just 2,621 BTC on January 11, IBIT has seen its holdings grow by an impressive 10,378%.

There are worries among crypto experts regarding the pause in IBIT's inflows, with some suggesting that this development may not bode well for investors. Others in the industry have pointed out that BlackRock's 71-day streak of inflows was more remarkable than the recent four days of zero inflows.

The recent period of zero inflows from BlackRock coincides with other ETF issuers, such as Grayscale Investments, experiencing outflows from spot Bitcoin ETFs. Despite this, the total BTC ETF holdings in the United States have seen a positive increase since their trading launch, reaching 831,424 BTC as of April 29, marking a 33.1% rise since January 11.
