James Seyffart, an ETF analyst at Bloomberg, hailed the recent filing as a pivotal move towards the eventual launch of the ETF. His assessment follows the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) approval of 19b-4 listing rule changes on May 23, which provided a favorable regulatory backdrop for such initiatives.

Seyffart's optimistic outlook is grounded in the belief that the S-1 statements, now bolstered by additional details, stand a good chance of receiving approval in the weeks ahead. However, he also acknowledges the typical timeframe for such approvals, indicating that the process may extend over several months.

The amended S-1 filing provides comprehensive information, including details about seed funding. It reveals that the fund has secured $10 million in proceeds through a seed capital purchase by BlackRock Financial Management, involving 400,000 shares priced at $25 per share. Additionally, the filing outlines the fee structure, indicating that the sponsor, iShares Delaware Trust Sponsor, stands to collect up to $500,000 in fees annually.

Further insights into the operational aspects of the ETF are also disclosed. For instance, the fund will issue and redeem shares in blocks of 40,000, with its designated ticker symbol being ETHA. The filing specifies key entities involved in the fund's administration, including Wilmington Trust, National Association, acting as the Delaware trustee, and Bank of New York Mellon, serving as the trust administrator and cash custodian.
