With the bounty in sight, we have covered the major sections of the blockchain explorer, using etherscan as a case study.

In this episode, we’ll look at an interesting section of etherscan— More. Contained in this section are a variety of tools and services that help the users explore some specific activities in the blockchain. This section has three (3) categories thus;

Tools: Unit Converter, CSV Export, and Account Balance Checker.

Unit Converter: This feature allows you to convert between different units of Ether and other tokens, such as Wei, gwei, Finney, Szabo, etc.

CSV Export: This feature allows you to export the transaction history of any address or contract to a CSV file. You can choose the time range, type of the transaction, the number of transactions, and the fields to include in the file. This can be useful for analyzing or reporting your transactions.

Account Balance Checker: This feature allows look up the historical balance of an account's Ether or Tokens at a specific block number or date.

Explore: Gas Tracker, DEX Tracker, Node Tracker, Label Cloud, and Domain Name Lookup.

Gas Tracker: This feature allows users to see the current and historical gas prices on the Ethereum network. The gas limit, the gas used, and the percentage of full blocks can also be viewed by users. This can help you estimate the optimal gas price and time for your transactions.

Dex Tracker: This feature allows etherscan users to see the trading activity and liquidity of decentralized exchanges (Dex) on the Ethereum network. The top Dex platforms, volume, price, and number of trades for different pairs of tokens are among the metrics that can be accessed using this tool. This can help users find the best trading and arbitrage possibilities.

Node Tracker: This feature allows you to see the status and performance of different nodes on the Ethereum network. You can see the node type, location, and peers for each node. This can help you monitor the health and security of the network.

Label Cloud: This feature allows users to see the most popular labels for different addresses or contracts on the Ethereum network. Users are able to see the number of occurrences and the percentage of each label (By hovering over and (or) clicking on a particular word of interest). This enables users to identify and categorize the entities on the network.

Domain Name Lookup:

This feature allows you to look up the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains, Unstoppable Domain Names registrations, and their corresponding addresses.

Services: Token Approvals, Verified Signatures, Input Data Messages(IDM), Advanced Filter, Blockchain Chat.

Verified Signatures: This feature allows viewing, signing, and verifying message signatures using an Ethereum address. A signature is proof that an address has authorized a message or a transaction.

Input Data Messages (IDM): A decentralized communication on Ethereum.

Advanced Filters: This feature allows you to apply various filters to the transactions, events, and logs on the Ethereum network. You can filter by address, type, method, age, amount, asset, etc. You can also sort and export the results.

Blockcscan Chat: An answer to a FAQ on its website reads;

" Made by the Etherscan Team, Blockscan Chat was built to introduce the concept of Signing in with Web3 and as a messaging platform for users to simply and instantly message each other, wallet-to-wallet".
