According to data from (link unavailable), the difficulty of mining Bitcoin (BTC) has recently experienced a substantial decline. This update resulted in a 5.63% drop in the hash rate to 83.15 trillion, with the change occurring at block height 842,688 and an average hash rate of 646.96 EH/s.

The mining difficulty, which measures the complexity of validating transactions and adding them to a block to receive rewards, typically fluctuates in a sideways pattern. It is influenced by the number of computers connected to mine the primary digital currency and is usually calculated every two weeks. As a result, the hash rate may increase with more computers and decrease with fewer.
