In a recent publication on Medium, BounceBit articulated its vision to transform the landscape of Bitcoin investment by merging the liquidity and structure of centralized exchanges like Coinbase with decentralized infrastructure. The startup's strategy revolves around preserving the fundamental technology of Bitcoin, opting to focus on long-term sustainability rather than chasing fleeting trends or adopting sidechains or layer-2 solutions.

Despite potential dissenting voices within the market, BounceBit remains resolute in its determination to forge ahead on this trajectory, affirming, "You might not agree, the market might not agree, and that's fine, we are venturing this road anyway," showcasing a steadfast commitment to their unique approach and vision.

While specific timelines are not provided, BounceBit's roadmap for 2024 outlines several key milestones. Central to their agenda is the enhancement of the BounceBit Chain, a proof-of-stake layer-1 chain bolstered by validators staking both Bitcoin and the native token BB. Significant upgrades include optimizing the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) execution layer to enhance node performance and introducing a shared security client module to expand the chain's liquidity to other projects.

Additionally, BounceBit is gearing up to introduce the Fixed Earn product, offering fixed income opportunities for Bitcoin and dollar assets akin to traditional crypto lending services. The upcoming launch of BounceClub will empower users to create their own centralized-decentralized-finance (cedefi) products using BounceBit's widget.
