Cardano, the prominent blockchain platform, is experiencing a resurgence as its leading decentralized exchange (DEX), Sundae V3, has recorded remarkable performance figures. According to Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, the protocol is "waking up" after Sundae V3 processed an astounding 9,264 orders within a 24-hour period.

The CTO of Sundae Labs, Pi Lanningham, revealed that 900 of these orders were placed and executed in the same block, with half of the total orders being processed within 30 seconds, 70% within a minute, and 90% within 221 seconds. This significant improvement in Sundae V3's performance marks a crucial milestone for the Cardano ecosystem.

In recent months, Cardano has witnessed a series of events and upgrades that point to its revival and repositioning within the cryptocurrency landscape. Hoskinson has hinted at the upcoming Chang Hard Fork upgrade, expected to go live this June, and the Cardano Node reaching version 9.0, signaling the protocol's readiness for the upcoming change.

Additionally, Cardano is shifting towards decentralized governance, introducing Decentralized Representatives (dReps) to enhance community input. The platform has also introduced a multi-staking or multi-delegation feature to its Light Wallet Lace, catering to security-conscious users.

These developments, coupled with the impressive performance of Sundae V3, suggest that Cardano is indeed "waking up" and poised for further growth and innovation within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
