Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA), has hinted at a possible expansion of the blockchain firm into Argentina, following a series of social media interactions with Argentina’s President Javier Milei.

President Milei has been vocal about Argentina’s interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency, recently traveling to the United States to meet with key industry players to discuss potential regulatory collaborations. Argentina is also looking to learn from El Salvador’s Bitcoin adoption strategies, where Bitcoin became legal tender in 2021.

Dario Epstein, Director at Research For Traders, suggested on social media that a third-generation blockchain company, which aligns with Cardano’s profile, is in discussions to establish itself in Argentina to develop technological applications. Hoskinson responded positively to Epstein’s post, praising the talent in Argentina and indicating Cardano’s interest in the region. President Milei’s repost of Hoskinson’s reply further signals strong support for this potential collaboration.

Argentina has been active in advancing its crypto efforts, with the National Securities Commission (CNV) working with El Salvador’s National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD).
