Casio has teamed up with creators to design a special collection that features iconic watch models. This collaboration with Astar’s zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) has led to the launch of the NFT collection to mark Casio's 50th anniversary. The partnership was also announced by Astar Network on X.

Casio and Astar zkEVM are working closely together to enhance scalability. The Yoki Origins experience, a gamified user onboarding process, has been integrated into the latest partnership with Casio. This Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution aims to provide a unique experience for collectors interested in Casio watches.

The Yoki Origins will showcase the Casio YoPort capsule machine, which allows users to choose between two versions of the YoPort from Casio. Both versions offer different numbers of NFTs for collectors to acquire. Reveal Day is scheduled for May 10, when the artwork for this item will be unveiled.

Collaborating with various creators, Casio has secured partnerships to design digital memorabilia pieces for the NFT collection. This series includes eight unique artworks featuring iconic Casio watch models, each with its own artistic interpretation.

In the NFT sales for Casio watches, collectors have the chance to win prizes such as an original G-Shock and an Astar valued at 10,000 yen. The Astar zkEVM logo can be seen on the watch as a symbol of the collaboration between Casio and Astar zkEVM.
