Cassava Network, Africa’s leading web3 platform for entertainment and games, announced its partnership with Polygon Labs during the last lap of 2023, on the 20th of December.

The announcement highlighted the need to incorporate tools that aid accessibility and scalability in applications for the African market. Polygon’s Proof-of-Stake is one of the most used protocols in the world, providing fast connectivity at a low cost. This makes it a suitable tool for Cassava Network’s implementation.

Previously, they used Polygon’s blockchain to launch their NFTs and distribute OATs to users to complete tasks at a reduced cost. This integration therefore comes as a welcome development, with the aim of satisfying users and increasing web3 adoption.

Currently, the integration aims at releasing more interactive programs for users to participate in. Users stand to gain incentives in CB coins and other on-chain assets by completing quizzes about Polygon’s Proof-of-Stake.

Cassava Network has a large, active participation pool, primarily made of Africans. Hopefully, these integrations bolsters their efforts at empowering their users through blockchain-based solutions.
