After enabling cross-chain staking with uniETH tokens, the aim was to enhance its utility. As a result, cBridge is supporting the integration of uniETH with X Layer, an Ethereum Layer 2 network boosted by ZK technology.

Celer initiated connectivity with OKX’s X Layer mainnet, starting with bridging uniETH across the Ethereum mainnet. Additionally, X Layer has integrated Celer’s inter-chain messaging infrastructure, enabling various interoperability opportunities.

X Layer merges the OKX and Ethereum communities, providing secure blockchain exposure and using ZK proofs for off-chain transaction computations. By connecting OKX and Polygon ecosystems, X Layer enhances user exposure, fosters innovation, and empowers application builders.

With its Ethereum compatibility, X Layer ensures seamless integration of existing smart contracts and tools with cost-effective transactions, while prioritizing upgrades, data accessibility, and security for unified liquidity and fast finality.

Through the collaboration with X Layer, Celer supports uniETH by bridging via the xAsset prototype, allowing token movement between Ethereum Mainnet and X Layer, providing additional utility for uniETH holders.

X Layer and Celer have integrated Celer’s inter-chain messaging infrastructure into X Layer’s technology stack, enabling dApp builders to create cross-chain applications and user experiences across X Layer and external blockchains, including NFT bridges, cross-chain NFT transactions, and reward receiving.

The recently launched public mainnet of X Layer offers builders connectivity with major blockchain ecosystems.

Initially known as Bedrock, liquid staking and restaking with uniETH later transitioned into the primary liquid staking mechanism on the ioTex network.
