Megaverse is now part of the ChainLink family with the integration of the Verifiable Random Function (VRF). This new randomization function is crucial for distributing Mega Hero NFTs on the Ethereum mainnet, ensuring fair and transparent NFT offerings for community members.

Megaverse is a pioneering project aiming to create a comprehensive metaverse environment, encompassing MegaFi, Mega NFTs, Mega VR, and Mega Builder within the Mega DAO ecosystem. Mega NFTs will be essential for accessing features within this ecosystem, including future land sales and exclusive NFT collections in the Megaverse marketplace. They also offer early access to privileges in the Megaverse Alpha game, upcoming NFT sales, and various other game assets and NFTs.

The Mega Hero collection includes a maximum of 10,000 NFTs, each uniquely designed across different classes. Users can mint up to 10 Mega Hero NFTs per wallet. These NFTs will be distributed randomly using ChainLink's tamper-proof VRF, which was chosen due to the unreliability of existing Random Number Generators (RNG) in the crypto space.

Traditional RNG protocols require smart contract support for integrity and have their own drawbacks based on data sources. On-chain RNG solutions can be exploited by validators, while external API-based solutions lack definitive proof of integrity. ChainLink VRF, developed through extensive research and advanced technology, ensures untampered and unknown data while generating random numbers, which must be accompanied by cryptographic proof to be accepted by Mega Hero NFT smart contracts. This tamper-proof and automated VRF ensures no interference from Megaverse or ChainLink.

ChainLink has become a standard for oracle solutions, with its VRF and Automated ChainLink Keepers gaining popularity in the NFT and GameFi sectors. Projects like Ragnörak, the God Panel, Project: Pigeon, OpenLuck, Binemon, and EMDX have integrated ChainLink solutions.
