Coca-Cola HBC, in collaboration with ALL.ART, a Solana-based platform that builds web3 solutions for real-world usage is utilizing blockchain technology to modernize its internal certificate verification procedure. The collaboration was made known via a tweet.

In a bid to adopt the blockchain technology security model in its Digital Academy training certifications, the bottling partner of the popular beverage company, Coca-Cola HBC will integrate ALL.ART’s certification platform to issue blockchain-based certificates to company employees attending the Digital Academy. ALL.ART certification platform, Credentee.io also utilizes verifiable credentials (VCs) to ensure that the certificates issued are easily verifiable. That way, authenticity is guaranteed since their metadata is safely kept on a decentralized metadata repository created by the team.

Verifiable digital certificates can be obtained and shared by employees via social media platforms or the Solana blockchain as NFTs. This solves a basic flaw in traditional certificates, which makes them susceptible to manipulation and falsification. Coca-Cola HBC ensures credentials are legitimate and unchangeable by keeping them on the blockchain.

The collaboration demonstrates the expanding potential of blockchain applications outside of projects aimed at consumers. Coca-Cola HBC will use Credentee.io, ALL.ART's certification platform, to help with ongoing personnel development tracking and expedite skill verification.
