Coinbase, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, is gearing up to list the new TNSR token from Tensor, a leading NFT marketplace on the Solana blockchain. Tensor recently announced the launch of its native token, TNSR, set to go live on April 8. This move follows the end of Season 3 of Tensor’s rewards program.

The launch of the TNSR token by Tensor is accompanied by exciting rewards for the community. Participants in Tensor’s referral program will receive "treasure boxes" containing TNSR tokens, which they can open on April 8. Additionally, Tensorians, crucial to the protocol's growth, can claim an extra 1% of the TNSR token supply if they remain staked until the claim date.

With a staggering 345,000 unique wallets recorded over the past 30 days, Tensor boasts the highest number of active wallets among Solana NFT marketplaces. Despite this, Magic Eden, a rival platform, has recently seen a surge in trading volume, capturing nearly 60% of the market share in the last 30 days compared to Tensor’s 35%.

Coinbase has been expanding its offerings of Solana tokens, starting with the listing of Bonk (BONK) Solana meme coins last December. It has since listed other Solana-based tokens like Bonfida (FIDA) and Orca (ORCA), aiming to provide a diverse selection for its users. Coinbase's criteria for listing assets prioritize legal, compliance, and technical security standards, regardless of a project's market cap or popularity.

In addition to listing TNSR, Coinbase has plans to integrate support for Wormhole perpetual futures, a cross-bridge protocol initiating an airdrop campaign targeting over 400,000 wallets across Solana and other blockchain networks. These moves signify Coinbase’s commitment to expanding its offerings and supporting innovative projects within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
