Coinbase Global Inc.'s CEO, Brian Armstrong, has recently shared updates on the company's exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance user experience.

In a recent announcement, Armstrong revealed that Coinbase's design team has been experimenting with AI technology to improve their design processes. The CEO provided two examples of how Coinbase is currently testing AI in design.

Firstly, the exchange is testing an AI design generator that can create Figma mockups based on text prompts. This tool can provide a starting point for designers, making their work more efficient. Secondly, Coinbase is testing an AI tool that can convert Figma designs into front-end code. This tool is designed to generate code that adheres to Coinbase's design system and enhances user experience interfaces.

Coinbase's recent announcement suggests that the exchange is becoming more comfortable with AI technology. Previously, the exchange had warned against the hype surrounding AI crypto projects, stating that the technology was more hype than utility. However, it seems that Coinbase is now embracing AI technology, joining other digital asset service providers that are leveraging AI tools or looking to delve into the industry.

Blockchain infrastructure service provider Ankr recently unveiled Neura, a new AI product that can tackle the foundational challenges of AI startups. The new platform integrates decentralized GPU resources, crypto-based crowdfunding, and on-chain AI operations. Ripple's ally Flare Network has also hinted at its interest in a new approach to AI that involves the safe and secure combination of AI and blockchain.

Other companies are also showing interest in implementing AI in their operations. Cathie Wood's Ark Invest recently revealed its investment exposure to OpenAI, with almost 4% of its Asset Under Management (AUM) invested in the AI behemoth. JPMorgan Chase's CEO, Jamie Dimon, is also bullish on AI technology, likening it to steam engines and their impact on the economy. Dimon believes that AI technology is crucial to the running of the financial sector, with huge economic potential, not just for Wall Street businesses but in all aspects of the larger society.
