The flow of money into Ethereum has not been as strong as seen in Bitcoin, showing that investors are more interested in Bitcoin.

In the recent market trends, Bitcoin and Ethereum have shown differences in how well they are performing.

According to Glassnode, this can be explained by a trend of less shifting of money, especially when compared to previous periods of growth and record-breaking highs.

Ethereum has not seen a strong flow of money. Before Bitcoin reached its highest value on March 14, Glassnode noticed an increase in risky trading. In its latest report, Glassnode found that a lot of money is being moved around in Bitcoin investments of short-term holders, nearly $240 billion in just six months, almost at a record high.

Ethereum, on the other hand, has not followed this pattern. It has not reached its best performance since 2021. This shows that less money is coming in for Ethereum compared to Bitcoin.

This lack of new money coming into Ethereum shows that it is not doing as well as Bitcoin. This could be because Bitcoin is getting more attention and being made more available through Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs).

Investors are looking forward to the SEC deciding soon if Ethereum ETFs will be allowed. This decision is expected by the end of May.

Because of this, experienced Ethereum investors are being patient and hoping the prices will go up.

When we look at how much money is moving between Bitcoin and Ethereum, it is clear that Bitcoin is getting most of the new money. This is likely because of the US ETFs for Bitcoin. More short-term investors and risky trading activities are happening with Bitcoin, while Ethereum has not seen the same kind of movement of money.

How Ethereum's Prices Have Changed

Even though Ethereum has not done as well as Bitcoin because of the lack of any big changes, Glassnode's analysis shows that the general trend of Ethereum's prices has been strong, with not many big drops.

Ethereum has been struggling to go over $3,000. Earlier this year, it reached almost $4,000, but it could not stay at that level. Now, its value has dropped to around $1,000 less.
