According to a weekly report by CoinShares, investments in crypto-related products surged by $646 million in the past week, bringing the total inflow for the year to an unprecedented $13.8 billion. This surge has pushed the total assets under management to an impressive $94.47 billion.

Last week, trading volume for crypto investment products decreased to $17.4 billion, down from the $43 billion seen in early March. This decline suggests a possible decrease in investor enthusiasm for Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) after several weeks of hype.

Bitcoin remained the main focus for investors, maintaining its dominance in the market following the approval of ETFs in January. BTC-related products saw a positive net flow of $663 million last week, with the majority coming from BlackRock’s iShares at $811 million, followed by Fidelity FBTC at $395.83 million. In contrast, Grayscale GBTC recorded outflows of $731 million.

While Bitcoin products saw an increase, outflows from other digital assets caused the total net flow to decrease to $646 million. Ethereum experienced its fourth consecutive week of outflows, losing an additional $22.5 million, bringing its year-to-date net flows to $52 million.

Some altcoins like Solana, Litecoin, and Filecoin saw positive inflows of $4 million, $4.4 million, and $1.4 million, respectively, indicating resilience in certain areas of the market.

Despite the declining interest in Bitcoin ETFs, the United States remained the top market with inflows of $648 million. Brazil, Germany, and Hong Kong also saw significant inflows, while Canada and Switzerland experienced outflows, showing regional disparities in market sentiment.
