Jim Cramer, a well-known market contrarian, has made a surprising statement, advising investors to invest in Bitcoin directly rather than buying MicroStrategy shares. Despite MicroStrategy's 87% increase this year, Cramer believes Bitcoin's 130% gain makes it a more attractive investment opportunity.

Cramer, known for his incorrect statements that often precede market rallies, made his comments on CNBC's Mad Money. He warned investors against investing in MicroStrategy, despite its close ties to Bitcoin and massive BTC investments. MicroStrategy's CEO, Michael Saylor, has continued to buy Bitcoins, even when the price reached an all-time high.

However, the price movement of Bitcoin has been inconsistent since reaching its all-time high, partly due to Bitcoin Spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Grayscale, a leading Bitcoin ETF management organization, has faced significant exits from positions based on BTC ETF fees. Additionally, Hong Kong's recently launched Bitcoin ETFs have experienced larger debt repayments than deposits for three consecutive days, limiting the total number of Hong Kong Bitcoin ETFs to 3,560.

Cramer's comments have sparked attention, as his negative statements about Bitcoin often precede market rallies. Investors are now considering his advice to invest in Bitcoin directly, rather than through MicroStrategy shares. As of now, MicroStrategy continues to trade at $1,270, while Bitcoin's price remains volatile.
