Centrifuge, a platform for tokenizing real-world assets onchain, has announced that Credbull will be the latest asset manager to launch a private credit fund on its platform. This fund will be accessible to investors in the Plume ecosystem.

Plume has initially allocated $10 million to the private credit fund, sourced from its network of offchain institutional investors. This move is expected to encourage new investors to engage with the growing real-world asset (RWA) class.

Credbull offers a unique investment opportunity with uncorrelated yields, focusing on established SME originators and capital preservation. Operating within a licensed framework, Credbull ensures investor protection and transparency, aligning with its decentralization goals.

Jason Dehni, co-founder and CEO of Credbull, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Plume and Centrifuge, highlighting the benefits of providing diversified DeFi solutions and increasing market liquidity.

Plume, a liquidity provider and modular layer 2 blockchain, supports the trading and investment of high-quality RWAs. Chris Yin, CEO of Plume Network, emphasized their mission to facilitate institutional adoption and boost liquidity for RWAs, with Centrifuge streamlining the launch of onchain funds.

Centrifuge's platform, which launched in March, continues to onboard credit funds to public blockchains, offering streamlined back-office operations and increased transparency. Co-founder Lucas Vogelsang welcomed Credbull as a valuable addition to the ecosystem.

This announcement follows the growth of Anemoy, a web3 native asset manager, on Centrifuge's platform.
