Crypto bank Anchorage Digital has been making waves in the digital asset space by accumulating a substantial amount of DeFi altcoins, particularly Maker's native token, MKR. According to blockchain tracking firm Lookonchain, the company used 13 different wallets to purchase over $49.4 million worth of MKR tokens over the past month.

This significant purchase has led to a noticeable decline in the price of MKR, which has dropped over 4% to $2,693. The market capitalization of MKR has also fallen to $2.4 billion, with a significant increase in 24-hour trading volume.

In addition to this, Bitcoin has also experienced a decline, trading at $61,188 after a 2% drop. Despite this, a major investor made a substantial profit by buying Bitcoin at the bottom of the market and selling it for a profit of over $3 million in just four days.

The 24-hour trading volume of Bitcoin has also increased by 0.5% to $26 billion, indicating uncertainty in the market. The statements made by Federal Reserve officials following positive US data last week may have contributed to this uncertainty.
