According to the latest report from CoinShares, global crypto investment products at prominent asset managers like Ark Invest, Bitwise, BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, ProShares, and 21Shares experienced net inflows totaling $185 million last week. This marks the fourth consecutive week of positive inflows, reflecting sustained investor confidence in the cryptocurrency market.

The recent streak of inflows has propelled May's total inflows to an impressive $2 billion, pushing year-to-date net inflows above the $15 billion mark. However, despite the positive trend in inflows, trading volume experienced a slight decline over the past week, generating $8 billion compared to $13 billion the previous week, as noted by CoinShares Head of Research James Butterfill.

The dominance of U.S.-based crypto investment products persisted, with these funds accounting for $130 million in net inflows for the week. Switzerland and Canada-based funds also saw notable inflows of $36.8 million and $24.6 million, respectively. However, digital asset funds in Sweden and Brazil recorded net outflows during the same period.

Bitcoin-based funds continued to attract significant investor interest, with net inflows totaling $148 million globally last week. Conversely, short Bitcoin products experienced further outflows totaling $3.5 million, indicating sustained positive sentiment among investors towards the leading cryptocurrency.

In the U.S., spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) witnessed robust inflows, with a combined total of $170.9 million. Notably, BlackRock's IBIT led the pack with $297.8 million in net inflows, surpassing Grayscale's converted GBTC fund, which recorded net outflows of $260.6 million. This shift underscores the dynamic nature of the market, with IBIT emerging as the top fund in terms of assets under management.

The continued influx of capital into crypto investment products reflects growing institutional acceptance and confidence in the long-term potential of digital assets. Despite short-term fluctuations in trading volume, the overall trend points towards a maturing market and increasing mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies as viable investment assets.
