The crypto trading card game "Cross the Ages" has raised $3.5 million in a funding round led by Animoca Brands, with its CTA token now listed on exchanges like KuCoin and Bybit, the developers announced. Although the fresh capital raise was disclosed on Wednesday, the token generation event had been announced earlier. The CTA token will support an economy for buying, selling, and renting cards, as noted in a post on X.

On its first trading day, the CTA token fell over 13% by 10:18 a.m. EST, according to CoinGecko. The developers also mentioned that they had previously raised $20 million, with $5 million coming from the community. Backers include Ubisoft and Polygon.

"Cross the Ages" is available on Windows, Mac, Android, and Apple devices, with over 400,000 downloads and nearly 150,000 monthly active users, according to the statement. The CTA token is also being listed on Gate.io and MEXC exchanges.
