Within a 4-hour timeframe, $312 million worth of assets were liquidated, comprising $297 million from long positions and $15 million from short positions. The largest individual liquidation, amounting to $8.23 million, occurred on the OKX - BTC - USDT - SWAP platform.

This widespread liquidation affected major exchanges, with significant losses reported on several platforms:

- OKX: $141.35 million, representing 45.36% of the total liquidation.

- Binance: $83.49 million, constituting 26.79% of the total.

- Huobi: $43.80 million, accounting for 14.06% of the total liquidation.

Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge, a private global investment firm, attributes the recent market downturn to a substantial sell-off of GBTC (Grayscale Bitcoin Trust) shares, leading to significant losses. According to him, the sale of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust shares may have played a role in the decline of Bitcoin's value since the introduction of Bitcoin ETF trading.
