Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol, prominent figures in the decentralized AI sphere, are set to finalize their merger and establish the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) by June 2024, as disclosed in a statement shared with CryptoSlate on May 29.

The amalgamation of these leading entities will culminate in the creation of a formidable force in the AI landscape, challenging the dominance of Big Tech companies. The ASI merger aims to consolidate the native tokens of the three platforms into the ASI token, boasting a total supply of 2.63055 billion tokens and commanding a market capitalization of $5.8 billion as of May 28.

Token migration processes have been outlined for FET, AGIX, and OCEAN token holders, allowing them to seamlessly transition to the ASI ecosystem by June 11 and June 13, respectively.

The strategic merger, conceived to catalyze AI innovation and accelerate investments in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), seeks to disrupt the entrenched supremacy of Big Tech in AI development and commercialization.
