CoinShares reports that digital asset investment products have maintained their upward trajectory, marking the fourth consecutive week of inflows. Total inflows for the week reached $185 million, contributing to a significant milestone as May's inflows soar past $2 billion, setting a new record. Despite this positive trend, weekly volumes experienced a slight decline, totaling $8 billion compared to the previous week's $13 billion.

The United States emerged as a key contributor to the inflows, with $130 million pouring into digital asset investment products. Notably, despite outflows of $260 million among incumbent ETF issuers, the overall inflow trend remained robust. Switzerland witnessed its second-largest weekly inflow of the year, amounting to $36 million, while Canada reversed its trend with $25 million in inflows after experiencing a net outflow of $39 million in May.

Bitcoin (BTC) maintained its dominance in the market, attracting $148 million in inflows. This positive sentiment was reflected in the sustained interest among ETF investors, as short-bitcoin products saw outflows of only $3.5 million. Ethereum (ETH) also experienced its second consecutive week of inflows following the SEC's approval of a spot-based ETF scheduled for launch in July 2024. This approval marked a significant turnaround for Ethereum, which had endured a 10-week outflow streak totaling $200 million. Ethereum's positive momentum also had a ripple effect on Solana (SOL), which garnered $5.8 million in inflows last week.

On the other hand, blockchain equities faced challenges, witnessing $7.2 million in outflows for the week and a cumulative outflow of $516 million year-to-date. Despite this mixed performance, the overall trend in digital asset investments remains strong, reflecting continued investor confidence and interest in the sector.
