Donald Trump’s crypto wallet, identified by blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, has accumulated a significant $14 million. In the last 24 hours alone, over $1 million in cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH), Polygon (MATIC), and the USDC stablecoin have been added to the wallet.

Arkham Intelligence linked the wallet to Trump using data from his financial statements filed in August last year.

Crypto Donations Flow into Trump's Wallet

As of May 27, the wallet held about $10 million in cryptocurrencies, with the largest holding being the MAGA token, represented by the ticker TRUMP.

However, after his conviction in a historic hush money trial on May 30, the wallet saw a surge in deposits.

Within 24 hours of becoming the first former American president convicted of felony crimes, the wallet received additional donations, with the TRUMP token still leading. The total amount of TRUMP tokens in the wallet now stands at $9.48 million, followed by Ethereum worth about $1.77 million and wrapped Ethereum (wETH) valued at approximately $1.43 million.

These donations from the crypto community may be seen as support in response to the court’s ruling against Trump, who was found guilty of all 34 felony charges by a New York jury on Thursday.

Prosecutors accused him of participating in an illegal conspiracy to influence the 2016 presidential election by covering up a hush money payment to a porn star alleging an affair with him.

Judge Juan Merchan presided over the trial, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for July 11. Trump could face prison time or probation depending on the judge’s decision.

Trump Embraces Crypto for Political Gain

Besides this case, Trump faces additional legal battles ahead of the November presidential election. He aims to make a political comeback and return to the White House.

Trump is strongly preparing for the upcoming election, part of his strategy being to embrace the crypto economy to win the support of digital asset enthusiasts in the U.S.

Earlier this month, his campaign announced it would accept cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), for donations through Coinbase Commerce, accepting all digital assets available on the platform.

In addition to crypto donations, Trump is involved in non-fungible tokens (NFTs). He has launched several NFT collections that sell out within hours. His wife, Melania Trump, is also engaged in various NFT projects, reflecting the family's growing involvement in the crypto space.
