In a recent meeting with Riot Platforms CEO Jason Les and head of public policy Brian Morgenstern on June 12, Trump endorsed U.S.-based mining firms, emphasizing the need for Bitcoin production to be based within the country. Trump shared his support via his Truth Social platform, signaling a potential shift in U.S. policy towards embracing cryptocurrency mining as a strategic asset.

Greg Beard, CEO of Stronghold Digital Mining and former Apollo energy head, welcomed Trump's stance, highlighting Bitcoin's role in providing an alternative store of value amidst economic uncertainties:

"The U.S. should champion Bitcoin as a hedge against depreciating sovereign currencies," Beard remarked, underscoring the potential benefits for American society and beyond.
