In line with its commitment to fostering community-driven initiatives, Dora Factory spearheaded the ATOM Economic Zone (AEZ) quadratic funding program in collaboration with DoraHacks and Atom Accelerator DAO. This pioneering initiative seeks to mobilize decentralized communities to champion public goods projects through collaborative fundraising efforts.

Cosmos users can actively participate in the AEZ Quadratic Funding program by utilizing their ATOM tokens to vote and contribute to the public goods projects of their choice. Through this initiative, early-stage developers are provided with vital support, with an allocation of 80,000 ATOM and $200,000 USDC earmarked for distribution over ten rounds of AEZ Quadratic Funding and MACI voting.

To facilitate seamless participation in the voting process, Dora Factory leverages its Dora Vota network for the execution of smart contracts, enabling users to utilize the airdropped DORA tokens for gas fees. Beyond the distribution of rewards to early-stage projects and essential public goods, the initiative serves as a democratic governance experiment, harnessing community power to foster the growth of public goods and nurture promising developers.

In tandem with the AEZ Quadratic Funding program, Dora Factory unveiled an innovative on-chain voting system equipped with enhanced privacy features known as Minimal Anti-Collusion Infrastructure (MACI). This groundbreaking system empowers community members to cast votes and review projects anonymously while safeguarding their addresses from exposure.

Having whitelisted a record 1 million addresses to partake in MACI privacy voting, Dora Factory is set to distribute $20,000 USDC stablecoin to selected teams. Notably, the voting fees for this round will be covered entirely by Dora Factory through the Gas Station feature of Dora Vota.
