Dune, a leading web3 data analytics platform, has launched Dune Catalyst, an enterprise solution aimed at simplifying blockchain data integrations. This initiative helps blockchain teams make their data accessible to the broader crypto data community through managed or hosted solutions. The rise of numerous Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, including the OP stack and Arbitrum Orbit, has led to the creation of many new blockchains. While these blockchains offer public data, communities often lack the tools to access or analyze it easily. Dune Catalyst addresses this by facilitating faster integration with Dune, enhancing data accessibility for emerging blockchains.

Fredrik Haga, CEO and co-founder of Dune, emphasized the significance of a multichain future. He noted that Dune Catalyst provides a new data structure standard, enabling blockchains to make their data publicly accessible more quickly without delays from data indexers.

Dune Catalyst is available in two formats: a fully managed integration solution and a self-serve hosted solution. The fully managed solution covers everything from data setup to continuous management, while the hosted solution allows EVM blockchains to integrate their data with Dune via Catalyst’s standardized APIs.

Projects like Degen, a new Layer 3 on Farcaster, and Mode Network, a modular DeFi-centric Layer 2, are early adopters of Catalyst’s APIs. Degen's recent Layer 3 launch on Arbitrum Orbit and Mode Network's MODE token release enable users to access comprehensive data insights through Dune's platform, enhancing network visibility.

Jacek Trocinski, Founder of Degen, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Dune, highlighting its benefits for community data analytics. James Ross, Core Contributor of Mode, noted that with over 50 protocols deployed and $600 million in total value locked on Mode, the integration with Dune Catalyst offers their community immediate, detailed visibility into token performance and network growth.

Dune will host its annual conference, DuneCon, on November 11, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand, alongside DevCon 2024. The event will feature speakers such as Sandy Peng, Co-Founder of Scroll, Stani Kulechov, Founder of AAVE, and Jess Houlgrave, CEO of WalletConnect.
