Joining them were Spartan Group, Laser Digital (Nomura), and Caladan (formerly AlphaLab), collectively contributing to the effort. The round secured over 1.4 million API3 Tokens for the treasury, priced at a discounted $2.81 per token based on the 7-day TSWAP average.

DWF Labs led the charge with a $2 million investment, securing 711,744 API3 Tokens, while Spartan Group followed with a $1 million investment for 355,872 tokens. Laser Digital and Caladan each invested $500,000, acquiring 177,936 tokens apiece. Token lockups will gradually open for investors over six months, with half becoming available immediately and the remainder unlocked monthly thereafter.

The funds raised are earmarked to bolster API3’s ongoing development, marketing efforts, and business expansion. Specifically, they will support the launch of the OEV Network on the mainnet, enhance integration of decentralized applications (dApps), and further develop API3's suite of services.

Following the announcement, API3's token price saw a notable uptick of over 10%. Despite briefly surpassing the $3.20 resistance level, sustained closure above this mark has proven elusive.
