eCash Aliases offers fully tradable and customizable aliases without annual fees unlike ENS. In Phase 1, users can register an alias by paying fees based on the alias length. Future phases plan to support tradable NFT aliases.

In Phase 1, the eCash system uses transactions to register the alias to an on-chain address permanently on the blockchain. Once purchased, an alias fully belongs to the user until they choose to sell it.
