Edward Snowden is a Computer Intelligence Consultant who has become quite well known for Whistleblowing and exposing the United States.

He's especially known for exposing the Surveillance Programs the US's National Security Agency (NSA) was carrying out in 2013. But he has continued several whistleblowing and government probing attempts since then.

And Twitter is one place where he speaks a lot.

And then, again, a week ago he dropped this tweet:

This is quite potentially huge!

Because:

1. Of course he means it's a country who doesn't want the public to know, it can't be any country that openly supports Bitcoin like El Salvador.

2. It is most likely a country who has some laws against Cryptocurrencies, or who have criticized Cryptocurrencies publicly.

3. It is also, most likely, a First World country, because Snowden is known for big leaks.

If all these three likely guesses are true, then when this country is exposed it's going to be very bullish for Bitcoin.

Because the news of a First World country buying Bitcoin secretly, even though they've been unfriendly to it would mean that this country recognizes how important owning Bitcoin is, so why not buy too?

It would also show that the unfriendliness towards Bitcoin is not because they think Bitcoin is bad, but because they want to stop it from reaching it's full potential which would be detrimental to them and their unfavorable policies.

It is only sad that Snowden didn't give a shorter time frame. "This year" sounds like quite a long wait.

However, we have to wait. Sounds like very exciting times ahead for Hodlers.
