El Salvador has launched a website to track its Bitcoin reserves, revealing that it owns approximately 5,748 Bitcoins, valued at around $360 million. The country aims to add one Bitcoin to its treasury daily. In the past 30 days, El Salvador has purchased 31 Bitcoins worth $1.94 million, aligning with its goal of daily additions.

Despite facing criticism after Bitcoin's price drop in 2021, El Salvador's Bitcoin assets have seen unrealized profits of over $57.4 million. Venture capitalist Tim Draper believes that if Bitcoin reaches $100,000, El Salvador could become financially independent and pay off its debts.

El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender in September 2021, aiming to promote financial inclusion, efficient remittance payments, and financial innovation. The country's Bitcoin strategy involves buying and holding Bitcoins, with an average purchase price of $43,097 per Bitcoin since 2021.

Crypto analysts predict Bitcoin will exceed $100,000 during the 2024-2025 bull cycle, with a potential cycle peak above $150,000 after the 2024 halving event. El Salvador's Bitcoin assets could be a significant lifeline for the country, and institutional entries from US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds will impact Bitcoin's price movement.
