Serving as the pioneering nation to endorse Bitcoin as legal tender, El Salvador has witnessed rapid expansion in its crypto assets, with profits surpassing an impressive $50 million.

President Nayib Bukele spearheaded a plan to acquire 1 BTC daily, resulting in the government accumulating approximately 2,380 BTC, valued at $158.5 million to date. With Bitcoin reaching an all-time high on March 5, the value of these holdings surged to $164.7 million. This achievement is noteworthy, representing a remarkable 53% increase over El Salvador’s initial acquisition costs, with each BTC purchased at an average price of $44,300.

President Bukele has been vocal about challenging mainstream media narratives regarding the country's fiscal policy, particularly concerning cryptocurrency. He refuted reports of losses during periods of low Bitcoin market prices, noting the reversal of fortunes as prices soared. Despite the substantial profitability, Bukele affirms that his government has no plans to sell, underscoring their unwavering faith in Bitcoin's intrinsic value.
